I was lucky enough to win this gorgeous Colclough Linden sugar bowl, isn't it pretty? It's funny that this was my prize as I've been looking out for a nice sugar bowl for quite a while now.
At the moment it's holding a few sweeties, though I've been very good and have resisted the temptation to eat any, but I can assure you that it will be used for it's intended purpose.
Thank you, Scarlet, I love my prize and it will be put to good use.
I wish I hadn't chosen that title, I'll have the tune in my head all day now.

You are very welcome Jo. I'm glad you love it as much as I did when I saw it.Well done on resisting the sweeties!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about getting a tune stuck in your head.. Yesterday my Head of Faculty prompted 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' and I was humming it all afternoon. One of the Deputies - who already thinks I'm mad - had it comfirmed when she founds me singing a Christmas song in the staff kitchen!!! It's a lovely sugar bowl. Jx
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely a candy girl or is it chocolate? Lucky you.

ReplyDeleteIts gorgeous Jo!
ReplyDeleteI won first prize in Scarlet's giveaway and got a gorgeous apron that she had made especially, a tea towel (which is far too nice to use to dry pots!) and a beautiful liberty photo frame.I think I was very lucky!
Thank you for all your lovely comments, they're always very much appreciated.
