If you've joined in with my Twelve Days Of Christmas swap, then your parcels should be posted off no later than tomorrow.
I've wrapped all my gifts up and they're now winging their way through the postal system to Marlene from Simply Living who I'm partnered with.
Marlene is obviously a much more organised person than I am as I've already received the gifts from her.
It was so exciting opening up the box, even Archie couldn't resist a sniff.
They've been put away now until Christmas Day when the first of the twelve gifts will be opened up.
I'm doing a Twelve Days Of Christmas swap with Lisa from Jumble and Jelly again this year too. Her parcel has already been sent off as has the card for the Christmas Card Swap 2015 which Amy from Love Made My Home organised. My partner has stopped writing her blog but she saw the comment I left and still wanted to take part so that's good. She lives in Canada so my card is on it's way across the Atlantic. It's been quite busy getting everything organised.
The only parcel left to send now is the #stitchingsanta Blog Christmas Gift Swap which Sheila organised on her Sewchet blog. I'm very nearly there with everything now so that parcel should be posted next week.
How's everyone else doing with their swaps? Are you all done now or are you still putting last minute things together like me?
I've hardly started thinking about Christmas yet, apart from the swaps. I've bought a couple of things for Daniel, something for his girlfriend and I've got a few bits and pieces for Eleanor which I've picked up throughout the year but apart from that I've got all my gifts to buy. I don't think I've ever been as disorganised as I am this year. There's no decorations up yet, though we never trim up early, that will be done next weekend. Perhaps then it'll start feeling more like Christmas.
So exciting, I think next year I will be hosting some swaps, look at Archie so cute xReplyDelete
Great, I'll be watching out for your swaps next year, they're great fun, aren't they? I feel I've been missing out all these years. Archie doesn't like to be left out of things.Delete
I've had mine from Susan I was so pleased to be partnered up with her as she seems like a really nice person. We have a few bits to buy it's become easier now the kids are older xReplyDelete
Susan and I met a couple of times whilst she was in England last year, we've become very good friends. I think it's much harder to buy for the kids now they're older, especially Daniel, I never know what to buy for him so he ends up with money which he's always grateful for.Delete
How exciting! I have received my parcel from Kimberley in NZ and I'm hoping my parcel sent to her will arrive there any day now. xxReplyDelete
That's great news. I think everyone's much more organised than I am.Delete
Just to let you know that my partner and I have swapped (and received) parcels. Thank you so much for organising this.ReplyDelete
You're very welcome. Glad to hear that the parcels have been received and are now waiting to be opened, all very exciting.Delete
I posted my parcel to Hazel this morning, hopefully it won't take too long to reach her.ReplyDelete
Thanks for letting me know. It's so exciting all these parcels whizzing around blogland.Delete
My swap partner got her box and mailed mine though it hasn't shown up yet.ReplyDelete
I'm sure it will be there soon. Parcels can take a little while to get over the pond, especially at this time of year.Delete
Our's have been sent and received, so all's well here, thank you for doing the hard work.ReplyDelete
Great news, all ready for opening now then. You're very welcome, it's been fun.Delete
I'm wrapping my gifts at this very moment, ready to take to the post office in the morning. I;m excited to see what mu swap partner thinks of what I've chosen.ReplyDelete
I love looking for gifts, as well as receiving them of course. These swaps are so much fun.Delete
Jo and I have already received our parcels, but I've not opened mine as it looks too tempting, so it is currently sitting in the spare bedroom. Thanks so much for organising this swap as I've really enjoyed and meeting another lovely blogger has been great. We've decided that we need to keep in touch. We are having Xmas today at DD's as they will be away for about 3 weeks over the festive season. Next week I have to do the Xmas cards and a few very small gifts to friends. We'll be just two oldies for Xmas day and may take a picnic lunch to the hills or beach. Thanks again and take care.ReplyDelete
It's good to know that the parcels have been received, especially with them travelling so far. I hope you enjoy your Christmas at your daughter's. A Christmas day picnic sounds wonderful, not something we'd be able to do here with our weather.Delete
You sound highly organised to me you have already sorted twenty four presents and a card sent internationally! That would be enough to finish me off!ReplyDelete
Ha ha, it's been at the expense of sorting out family gifts. I've made some lists today so I'm feeling slightly better about things now, just got to source everything.Delete
It is very exciting isn't it!!! I have received the parcel from my swapper - the lovely Debbie! - and mine was sent to her on Tuesday so I hope that it arrives soon! Lots to look forward to! Glad that you got in touch with your card swapper! xxReplyDelete
It is exciting, all these parcels being sent and received. I was really glad that Melanie still wanted to take part in the card swap, my card is on its way to her.Delete
How fun! Such a great idea.ReplyDelete
I've had a lot of fun with all the swaps I've been involved in this year.Delete
With all that you've got going on, I think you've done very well. I'm sure everyone will enjoy the swap and I'm already looking forward to hearing about them in the New Year.ReplyDelete
All the best Jan
I've managed to get quite a bit done this weekend so I'm not feeling quite so behind with things now. All the trimmings will go up this coming weekend and then I'll really start to feel in the Christmassy spirit. I'm looking forward to hearing about everyone's swaps too, it's all very exciting.Delete
I always forget about Christmas swaps or secret santa's until it's too late. Once year I'll get to join in! :)ReplyDelete
I've thoroughly enjoyed taking part this year, great fun.Delete
