Happy Birthday, Archie.
Archie's 9 today, I don't know where those years have gone, it only seems two minutes since he was a puppy, now he's showing signs of age. He likes nothing better than having a lovely snooze. The photo above was taken last night, relaxing on his cushion.
He usually get spoilt on his birthday, and today's no exception, but Mick booked him in at the groomers for this afternoon without realising it was his birthday, he won't like that one little bit. Never mind, he'll come home looking dapper and with a much shorter coat, which he'll like, and I'm sure he'll get lots of treats to compensate.
This little boy dog is the light of my life.
Happy birthday Archie, looking good for his age! How lovely of the Royal couple to name their baby after him ;-)
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I know, naming their baby after my doggy. He still looks good for his age but he's slowing down now.
DeleteHe certainly is a handsome little man, Happy Birthday Archie. Wishing you many more happy years.
ReplyDeleteWe think so. He's got health issues now but he's still doing well.
DeleteHappy birthday blessed boy, xxx

He's lapping up all the attention today. He won't be quite so pleased when we get to the groomer's though.
DeleteAwww Happy Birthday Archie :-) May you have many more x
ReplyDeleteI hope so, he's getting old now by Cavalier standards.
DeleteHappy birthday Archie & I know you are a gorgeous boy. It was you I recognised that day at Bolton Abbey as you hopped out of the car before your Mum (giggle). Take care Jo & huggles from Oz.
ReplyDeleteI think he remembered you from when we met at Temple Newsam.
DeleteHe is a gorgeous boy, my Ben spends more time sleeping than awake but then I have had him since 2004 and have no idea how old he was then.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Ben's knocking on then now. They do sleep much more as they get older, I'm sure Herbie keeps him on his toes though.
DeleteHappy birthday Archie - looking good sat there on your cushion!
ReplyDeleteWe got a new suite not long ago, I wanted to throw all the old cushions but Archie wouldn't let this one go, it's his favourite.
DeleteArh happy birthday dear Archie. If this warm weather continues he'll be glad of a trim, bless him. All the best, Cx
ReplyDeleteHe does seem more comfortable with short hair in the summer, though so do I too.
DeleteSuch a cutie!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to him!!!!
He knows how to work that cuteness to his advantage.
DeleteI agree, though I'm biased.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Archie! What a sweetheart. X
ReplyDeleteHe is, he's such a sweet natured little dog.
DeleteHappy birthday Archie. He always makes me smile in his pictures and what you write about him. xx
ReplyDeleteHe makes me smile too, he's a funny thing and makes us laugh with his antics.
DeleteHappy Birthday lovely boy, have a wonderful day filled with love and treats xxx
ReplyDeleteHe got lots of treats yesterday, I think he needs to give his tummy a rest today.
DeleteHappy birthday to Archie ... a royal name now! :o)
ReplyDeleteA royal breed and a royal name.
DeleteHe's a sweetheart and looks so cute on his cushion.
ReplyDeleteFurry head scratches xx
I love him to bits, he's been a real comfort to me over the last few weeks.
DeleteTiv’s sends him birthday greetings. She had her 14th birthday last month.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I'm so pleased to hear that after the worrying time you had with her. We never get as long as we would like with our furry friends.
DeleteOur fur babies have this amazing part of our hearts. They just don't live long enough. I wish your Archie many many more fun years
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping my fingers crossed. Cavaliers are known for their short life span but Archie's doing well at the moment even though he does have heart problems.
DeleteHappy Birthday Archie. He is so gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteHe's such a softie and melts my heart.
DeleteHappy Birthday Archie! Such a topical name.
ReplyDeleteI think the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have very good taste.
DeleteHow nice to have a royal baby named after your fur baby!! Does he know that? LOL Happy Birthday.
ReplyDeleteSandy's Space
I was quick to tell him as soon as it was announced, I think he was more interested in where his next meal was coming from though.
DeleteWhat a lovely photograph that is.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Archie.
All the best Jan
I was lucky to catch him, he usually sees the camera pointing at him and makes a run for it.
DeleteAhhhh, bless his little cotton socks. He is adorable.xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky to have him, he's such a gorgeous little dog.
DeleteAwww, happy birthday Archie! He's such a sweetie, it's always nice to see him here.
ReplyDeletexx
He's such a cutie, I love him to bits.
DeleteSo sweet!! I'm sure Archie had a wonderful birthday and the groomers was forgotten before long :)
ReplyDeleteWe made sure that Archie was a very pampered doggy indeed on his birthday, he's still chomping his way through his gifts.
DeleteMany happy returns to Archie! The years really fly by don't they? It's hard to believe that we'd had our precious little Ginger for 6 years and Harlow for 5 years before her. We're still undecided about another fur baby just yet, but the house is so sad and empty without our little girl and we miss her terribly. Best, Jane x
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe that he's now nine, the years certainly do fly by. Awww, I can imagine how your house feels without Ginger, it's so empty when you're used to having a dog or a cat there because even though they don't talk, they're still such good company and we love them so much. It's very hard when anything happens to them.
DeleteA belated Happy Birthday Archie! I bet he was spoilt :D
ReplyDeleteHe was spoilt rotten and is still eating all the treats he received now.
