A Doggy Birthday

Happy Birthday, Archie.

Archie's 9 today, I don't know where those years have gone, it only seems two minutes since he was a puppy, now he's showing signs of age. He likes nothing better than having a lovely snooze. The photo above was taken last night, relaxing on his cushion.

He usually get spoilt on his birthday, and today's no exception, but Mick booked him in at the groomers for this afternoon without realising it was his birthday, he won't like that one little bit. Never mind, he'll come home looking dapper and with a much shorter coat, which he'll like, and I'm sure he'll get lots of treats to compensate.

This little boy dog is the light of my life.

  6. He is a gorgeous boy, my Ben spends more time sleeping than awake but then I have had him since 2004 and have no idea how old he was then.

  25. Many happy returns to Archie! The years really fly by don't they? It's hard to believe that we'd had our precious little Ginger for 6 years and Harlow for 5 years before her. We're still undecided about another fur baby just yet, but the house is so sad and empty without our little girl and we miss her terribly. Best, Jane x

    1. It's hard to believe that he's now nine, the years certainly do fly by. Awww, I can imagine how your house feels without Ginger, it's so empty when you're used to having a dog or a cat there because even though they don't talk, they're still such good company and we love them so much. It's very hard when anything happens to them.
