While we were in Leeds last weekend, we popped in to BHS. I wasn't supposed to be looking in their homewares department but I think they do really lovely things so I couldn't resist a little peek. I found these gorgeous melamine tumblers.
Each tumbler carries a different floral or butterfly design and they're so colourful.
They were on a 20% discount so I couldn't resist buying them. They'll be ideal to pop in the picnic bag. I'm not sure any of them are quite Mick or Daniel's colour, but Eleanor and I will enjoy using them.
Of course, they're ideal for using at home too.
There's plates and bowls in the same range which I'd love but I'll have to save up for them first.
They look good, I'm sure that they'll see plenty of use. Flighty xxReplyDelete
They will if the weather's good. I wish I'd had something like this when the kids were little, instead we had cheapy plastic cups.Delete
They are absolutely beautiful! I love the butterflies!ReplyDelete
I hope you enjoy using them in glorious sunshine all summer long!
I think the pink flowery one is my favourite. Let's hope we get a good summer so that they get plenty of use.Delete
Really pretty, they will brighten up the picnic table, they would be just idea for around our pool area as we try really hard not to take any glassware up there.ReplyDelete
Have a great weekend xcx
They're definitely ideal for using instead of glassware, I wish I'd had them with the kids were little.Delete
They are pretty, let's hope we have a lovely summer so there can be lots of picnics xxReplyDelete
We usually take a picnic with us wherever we go so I'm sure they'll get plenty of use. It would be nice to use them in the sunshine though.Delete
I think they are beautiful. Using pretty things makes meal times and picnics more enjoyable I think.ReplyDelete
BHS do tend to have good designs, their lighting ranges are always good.
Pretty things definitely make picnics more special. I love the homewares in BHS, they have some fabulous things, I could really go mad in there if I had a bit more money.Delete
Great choice! I love them. BHS do some great stuff, don't they, and they always have lots of sales! I soooooo need to look out for these, I love anything floral and pretty. Have a lovely weekend, Jo. :)ReplyDelete
There always seems to be a sale on in BHS and I think the prices are quite reasonable anyway. There were some really pretty picnic baskets which I quite fancied but I listened to my head instead of my heart as we always take a cool box with us on our picnics. I don't think food would stay as fresh in a picnic basket and the drink definitely wouldn't be nice and cold as it is in the cool box.Delete
I would love to have a picnic basket Jo, they look so amazing! But I am with you, they are just not practical and do not keep the food cold. But every time I see them on display, I get an urge to buy one!Delete
I'm exactly the same. I'm sure I'll succumb eventually, even if it's just to carry the plates and mugs in, we'll end up having to carry the cool box and a picnic basket, they're such pretty things.Delete
They are lovely and will be great for your picnics! xxReplyDelete
I'm looking forward to going on my next picnic now that I have these, they're just so pretty.Delete
very pretty tumblers........Im tempted to buy four myself.ReplyDelete
I really want the plates and bowls to match now, I may be tempted.Delete
They look great, Jo. I do like a good bargain! :o)ReplyDelete
I just couldn't resist them and I'm finding it very hard to resist the matching plates and bowls.Delete
I love Butterflies they are just starting to come into the garden again as the buddleia are about to flower. And not only have they got butterflies on them but such a bargain too.ReplyDelete
The buddleia will really attract them, you should have a garden full of butterflies soon. I think my favourite tumbler is the pink flowery one but I like them all.Delete
They are very pretty Jo and if you got the other things they would be great in a picnic basket too.ReplyDelete
They actually have a picnic basket which matches too, I could go mad, but I'm trying to be sensible.Delete
They're gorgeous, I'd like a set of those too, not that I need them or have room for them!ReplyDelete
I suppose I could have managed without them, it was a case of the wanties as soon as I saw them.Delete
I have 'a thing' about butterflies so lots of items in our home has this motif. The picnic cups are very pretty. When I go into town I'll have to visit BHS and have a look at the range!ReplyDelete
There's lots of lovely things in BHS to tempt you. Make sure you take your purse with you.Delete
Just me back again. Love those tumblers and how great for grandchildren as they would just about be unbreakable. Take care.ReplyDelete
They're great if you've got children or grandchildren in the house, as you say, much safer than glass.Delete
They look great, love the patterns and colors. :)ReplyDelete
They're such fun. I shall enjoy using them on our picnics.Delete
