It's A level results day today. Eleanor's half way through her A levels so she went in to school this morning to collect her AS level results. She was rather disappointed with a D in both Biology and English Language, but she got a C in Psychology and a B in Sociology so they were decent grades.
Eleanor's studied really hard for these exams, it doesn't come easy to her and I've seen just how much effort she's put in so I'm really proud of her. These grades count towards her overall A level grades but she's got another year yet to improve on that grade D in Biology, which she'll have to do to go on and study the subject she wants to take at university. She will only take three of the subjects to A level so I assume she'll drop English Language. She's got a meeting with her form tutor when she goes back to school to discuss this.
She's been a little upset this morning but I know how determined she is to get where she wants to get and follow her chosen career so I know she'll do it. I've got every faith in her.
Well done, Eleanor. You may not have done as well as you'd have liked but I'm proud of you for working so hard and I know you'll continue to do so this next year.
