I've written many posts about our trips here. It's somewhere I was taken many times as a child and a place we've visited many times with our own children. It's my Happy Place.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park is in northern England and encompasses thousands of square miles of moors, valleys, hills and villages. The scenery is just stunning so I'm going to leave you with a few photos I took on the day.
We've had some more sunshine again this week so I'm hoping that autumn isn't here quite yet and that we're due a few more lovely days yet before summer is finally over.
We visited York a few years ago and drove out into the dales, we loved it. We are away and the weather is mixed, 1 cold wet day, 2 sunny and warm days the rest dull, still enjoying mid Wales.

It's somewhere I never tire of visiting, even though we visit often.
DeleteI love the area around there. We had friends who lived in Clapham, they have moved now and we really miss visiting them. I can totally see why you call it your Happy Place it is a wonderful area. Thank you for sharing your lovely photos.

ReplyDeleteThere really is no mistaking the the Yorkshire Dales with all their beauty. The weather is holding up still at the moment with a good forecast for the coming week which is what I like to see.
