I thought I'd show you the bedding which Eleanor has chosen. I have to say that I'm really pleased with her choice, it's something I would have chosen myself. We had a trip to Dunelm Mill and came across the Isabella range.
The quilt set is printed with a dreamy floral design.
There's only one pillowcase supplied with the single bed set so we bought a coordinating Oxford pillowcase as Eleanor sleeps with two pillows.
The bedspread matches the Oxford pillowcase having a striped design.
Eleanor loves having lots of cushions on her bed so I treated her to the matching cushion.
I did draw the line at paying £14.99 for this cushion that she fell in love with, afterall, it's not an essential, so she bought it herself out of money she had saved up. I think it will coordinate well though.
It's definitely going to be a 'grown up' bedroom now that Eleanor's thirteen. You can't really get the full idea of how it will look when everything is still in packets, but it does give you an idea, and I'm sure it's going to look perfect.
So pretty and very timeless. I used to have some curtains which I made in a Laura Ashley fabric which was almost identical to the flowered print.
ReplyDeleteHi Jo, Eleanor's bedroom is going to look lovely when it's finished. I like the bedding she chose. My daughter is going to be 13 this year, where does the time go? xxx
ReplyDeleteHello Jo:
ReplyDeleteWhat a very attractive and sophisticated scheme for Eleanor's room which, we are sure, is going to look very pretty indeed.
I love Eleanor's choice, she's a girl after my own heart with those flowers and stripes. I can see why she liked the other cushion so much too. I think her room is going to look so pretty.

Beautiful, what good taste Eleanor has, when my youngest was 13 she wanted to paint her room black!
