Miaow

Eleanor went to her friend's fancy dress party on Friday night. Many of her other friends had said that they were going to go in their onesies, so Eleanor decided that she would too. One of her onesies is a giraffe so she thought she'd wear that, but it has feet in it and she couldn't get any shoes on top of it. I suggested wearing her leopard print one as that doesn't have feet in it. She teamed it up with cat ears and a collar with a bell on which she's worn previously on Halloween when she's dressed up as a cat, and she used a bit of make up to make her look cat like. This is the result.

I think she looked quite good. It must be the easiest fancy dress costume we've ever put together.

Miaow.

    1. She had a wonderful time. I'm ashamed to say that I was tucked up in bed fast asleep when Mick went to pick her up, my children are certainly growing up.

    1. She said it was a great party. Lots of her friends went in onesies too, one was Superman, another was Sulley from Monsters Inc, and there were lots more. They all seemed to have had a good time.

    1. She's nothing if not resourceful. Gone are the days when I've had to make costumes up for her.

  5. So a few good verses of Memories or Macavity must be in order, then?

    1. Ha ha, definitely. Funny you should mention that, her drama group were going to do Cats this November but they've decided against it as, apparently, it's touring so they're doing a different show instead.

  7. Looks great and I've only just lately seen and heard about onesies. Must have been something that started overseas. I see from your comment above, she's still singing, which is good. Take care.

    1. Onesies are all the rage over here. People actually go out in them, though Eleanor only wears hers usually for bed. She is still singing, she took her Grade 6 Singing exam last week but she hasn't got her results yet.

    1. I think she came up with a great fancy dress outfit. I always find it so hard to put something together.

    3. I am. It's a good job that Eleanor's got more artistic flair than I have.

    1. She can definitely apply make up better than I can, worrying really.

    1. I'm not very good with fancy dress, it stresses me out having to think of a costume, so this was great. I'll be thinking of something easy like this next time.

    1. It sounded as though they had a great time. Eleanor went to a fancy dress party a couple of weeks earlier and her costume was much more elaborate, I prefer easy ones like this one.
