I haven't worked on the Joyful World Stitch Along very much this month but I've done the border and a little bit extra of the March design.
Another bit of the project is released on the 10th of each month and I'm always eager to see the next part of the design, I'm really looking forward to stitching the months ahead.
I really like it, look forward to seeing what else you've completed. I've ordered a small kit to make a gift, home I don't go blind making all the x's
ReplyDeleteI must admit that I have to use a magnifier as well as wearing my glasses, my eyesight isn't what it used to be.
DeleteIs this a stork? I love storks, funny creatures they are. I have still not ventured into cross stitching.
ReplyDeleteWell recognised, it is a stork. I'm really enjoying cross stitching, it's so relaxing.
DeleteLooking good! It's lovely that you've taken up a craft that you are so thoroughly enjoying.
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd never put that cross stitch project away thirty odd years ago now, it's a hobby I'm thoroughly enjoying.
DeleteI've not seen August as yet.
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't been released on the blog yet this month, it's late. At least I'm not waiting for it, I'm only on March.
DeleteI've not worked on mine for ages, I really couldn't get on with the fabric x
ReplyDeleteI found the large piece of fabric really hard to handle when I first started but I've got used to it now.
DeleteI like it so far ...
ReplyDeleteI do hope your week is going well
All the best Jan
I like how the picture builds up bit by bit, it will be interesting to see it progress.
DeleteI think the anticipation of what is coming next makes it exciting, then seeing it all come together is the reward. I'm enjoying seeing your progress. Take care.
ReplyDeleteIt does, I'm loving seeing the design as a whole unfold month on month. I'm sure it will be lovely when all the months are stitched up.
DeleteThat look like quite a lot of stitches to me!
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot more to go yet.
DeleteThis is the first time I've heard of a Joyful World project. What exactly is the finished item -- a tablecloth? I'm blown away by your talent, Jo. With my sausage fingers and old eyes I wouldn't attempt such an undertaking. P.x
ReplyDeleteIt's just a decorative project but I'm sure it could be made in to a tablecloth, a cushion or many other things if you wanted to. My own eyesight isn't as good as it used to be and I have to use a magnifier as well as my glasses to see where to place the crosses, but I'm thoroughly enjoying the project and find it very relaxing.
DeleteThat is going to be soooooo sweet!xxx
ReplyDeleteIt is, there's some great designs coming up for the months ahead.
DeleteMore white, your favourite!
ReplyDeleteLisa x
