We visited a garden centre yesterday which had a farm shop attached to it. There were some lovely looking produce but the thing which really grabbed my attention was the bakery counter. We couldn't resist and decided to take some goodies home with us.
The fruit meringue is mine, the chocolate cherry bomb is Mick's and the strawberry cheesecake is Eleanor's.
We didn't eat them yesterday so we've got them to look forward to after our roast chicken dinner tonight.
Which of the three would be your choice?
They all look delicious, but I would choose the chocolate cherry bomb. Enjoy! Flighty xx
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate cherry bomb does look delicious, all gooey. I think we'll all probably try a bit of each other's.
DeleteI wouldn't be able to choose! All three please!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I did stand at the counter for quite some time making my choice.
DeleteI'm a strawberry cheese cake......says it all!
ReplyDeleteI was quite tempted by the strawberry cheesecake myself.
DeleteIt's good to have a treat like this now and again. (We had quite a few when we were with our family recently)! I would choose the strawberry cheesecake.
ReplyDeleteA treat like this once in a while does no harm, it's not often we buy these kind of desserts, a real treat.
Deleteoh my goodness, they look fab. x
ReplyDeleteThey tasted fab too, yummy.
DeleteMeringue for me please.
ReplyDeletexx
The meringue was delicious, I'd choose it again.
DeleteI'd join you with a fruit meringue. I think Mark would probably go for anything with chocolate. Jx
ReplyDeleteMick usually goes for something chocalatey, I like something fruity, especially with strawberries.
DeleteOh the cheesecake I think! They all look delicious though so I am sure that any of them would be very yummy!! Hope that you enjoyed yours. xx
ReplyDeleteWe all enjoyed them, they were delicious.
DeleteHmm...the chocolate one for me, I think. Thanks, you're a dear. :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I wish I could send you one. Mick said it had cherry right the way through it, it tasted a bit like Black Forest Gateaux.
DeleteI'd have the meringue, I think. I bet they were all delicious! :o)
ReplyDeleteThey were, there were no leftovers.
DeleteI'd cheesecake and meringue and share 50/50 with hubby. He wouldn't get a choice :-)
ReplyDeleteHa ha, we do that sometimes, the best of both worlds.
DeleteStrawberry cheese cake for me, please. I am glad you enjoyed your meringue.
ReplyDeleteEleanor said the cheesecake was delicious and she should know, she's eaten many different ones in her time.
DeleteI think it would be the cherry bomb for me please. I love farm shops we have two on the outskirts of our village and another near Silk Willoughby attached to a garden centre that does a great breakfast too.
ReplyDeleteThis farm shop does breakfast and afternoon tea too, all at a very reasonable price. I think the cherry bomb is a good choice, it looked lovely and gooey.
DeleteI hope you all enjoyed your cakes. I think I would have to have a bite from each one :)! x
ReplyDeleteWe did, it was a lovely treat.
DeleteI'll have a little piece of each, please. I'm guessing there's not even crumbs left, though, is there?
ReplyDeleteYou're wrong. Mick's got a little piece of his chocolate cherry bomb left, he never eats a whole cake in one go, he doesn't have a sweet tooth. I'm sure he'll finish it off tonight though.
DeleteFruit meringue for me please!!
ReplyDeleteIt was very tasty, I'd choose that again.
DeleteOoh, I'll have a half of the cheesecake please. I can only eat half a piece of anything like that these days. Hubby and I share now, when we are out and about. I love the garden centres in UK with such wonderful plants and usually a cafe. Don't have many of them here and definitely no farm shops. Take care.
ReplyDeleteMick usually eats half and saves half for later, he's never had a sweet tooth. I think garden centres here try to make it an experience rather than a visit with their cafes and other sidelines.
DeleteThey all look yummy, but if I had to choose one it would be the strawberry cheesecake! xx
ReplyDeleteThey were all delicious. A very yummy treat.
DeleteI've only just caught up with this post Jo and have seen your reply to Alison ...I'm glad they were all delicious.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
They were enjoyed by us all. It's nice to have a sweet treat once in a while.
DeleteCheesecake for me please. Hope they tasted as good as they looked.
ReplyDeleteLisa x
They tasted delicious. They make my mouth water every time I look at the photo of them.
