Apart from a little shopping on Saturday, I didn't do much at all this weekend. It's lovely to just chill out sometimes as Eleanor and Archie know only too well.
Mick spent some time at the allotment, whilst I spent time at home with my granny square blanket.
I'm still crocheting it together at the moment, then I need to do a border around the edges to give it that finishing touch. I can see the end in sight now.
The blanket's beautiful Jo.............what better way to chill out at the weekend than with a little crochet.

That's a gorgeous photo of Archie and Eleanor! Your blanket looks great.. all the squares are beautifully even. Looking forward to seeing the finished project. Have you got special plans for it? Jx
ReplyDeleteHi Jo, Eleanor and Archie look very comfortable snuggled up together. Your blanket is gorgeous, it's similar to what I'm planning for my Summer blanket. Lots of love xxx
ReplyDeletebeautiful Jo well done
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your complimentary comments, they've made my day.
ReplyDeleteGill - I started out trying to block the squares, but it didn't really work. I'm not sure if you can block none natural fibres or not, anyway, I gave in, so no they haven't been blocked.
Jan - I don't have any special plans for the blanket once it's finished, though Eleanor seems intent on claiming it as her's.
