Dirty Dog

Why does Archie feel the need to jump in every muddy puddle he sees?

There's so many muddy puddles around after all the rain we've had that he's having a whale of a time at the moment.

This is what he looked like after our walk yesterday.

Needless to say, he had to have a bath, something he's not very keen on.

  1. They just have to do it don't they? Logan, being smaller than many of the puddles, usually starts out trying to delicately trot around them, but then he resigns himself to it as he realises he's going to get wet anyway and then just does the same as Archie!

  3. Letting a dog do the things he loves and watching him enjoying it is half the fun of having one. On the other hand he sure can get dirty!
Happy mid-week from across the pond.

  7. They don't learn, do they. I think he's saying - Go on, just dare put me in the bath!

  8. Aw - he's seriously cute! Mark used to have a labrador.. she was a real 'water dog' and would get into every bit of muddy water available! Jx

  10. Thank you for all your comments.

Archie certainly is a cheeky little chappie. I've been keeping him away from dirty puddles for the rest of the week.
