Amy from Love Made My Home has, once again, organised a Christmas Card Swap. This is the third year that I've joined in with this swap and this year I was partnered with Jan from Jan's Ramblings.
I hadn't come across Jan's lovely blog before so I'm pleased that, through this swap, I've now been introduced to both Jan and her blog.
This is the card which Jan sent to me, I don't think it picks it up so well on a photo but it's really twinkly and catches the light beautifully.
I forgot to take a photo of the card I sent to Jan but it was personalised with the name of the small town where I live.
Thank you, Jan, for the lovely card and thanks go to Amy too for organising the swap again. I'm linking this post to Amy's post where everyone's sharing the cards they received in the swap.
I forgot to take a photo of mine too so I was a little relieved to know that it wasn't just me. A beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteI was in a bit of a rush to get it off, I completely forgot to take a photo of it.
DeleteBeautiful. I do like a traditional snowy scene. X
ReplyDeleteI do too. I don't think anything else says Christmas as much as a snow scene.
DeleteWhat a lovely card, it's nice when we are introduced to a blog we may otherwise not have come across.
ReplyDeleteI think so too, I've found that's one of the lovely things about taking part in swaps.
DeleteWhat a lovely card.
ReplyDeleteI think so.
DeleteLovely card. Flighty xx
ReplyDeleteIt is.
DeleteHaven't we met some wonderful people through blogging! Lovely card.
ReplyDeleteWe have, it's such a wonderful community.
Deletea lovely card.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a lovely swap, getting a wonderful card through the post and making a new friend in the process.
DeleteIt's a beautiful card with the glittery snow giving it an extra attractive dimension to the scene.
ReplyDeleteThe glitter really does twinkle, it's not captured properly on a photo but it's really lovely.
DeletePretty card. Glad you've discovered another blog you enjoy. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOne of the lovely things about taking part in swaps is the new blogs you discover.
DeleteI am so glad you enjoyed joining in the swap! Thank you for taking part and for sharing your card with us all. Happy Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas. Thank you once again for organising the swap, it's been fun taking part.
DeleteThe card you received from Jan looks lovely, a very nice scene.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It's a lovely scene, so picturesque.
DeleteSuch a lovely idea, it's always great to find like-minded new bloggers too.xxx
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice idea and this is one swap which doesn't cost very much either.
DeleteLovely card.
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty.
DeleteA beautiful card. It is lovely finding new blogs isn't it? Have a wonderful Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love finding new blogs, there's so many great ones out there that there's always new ones to discover. Thank you, wishing you a very merry Christmas too.
Deletegorgeous card. I forgot to take a photo of mine too and my one to receive is still out in the world somewhere... Must chase my partner as I don't know if mine has even arrived and posted 3 weeks ago. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThe post can be so unpredictable around Christmas time, especially when you're posting to another country. I find I'm holding my breath until I know the recipient has received what I've sent.
DeleteA Christmas card swap -- what a lovely idea. And less fattening than a Christmas cookie swap which is popular here. P. x
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely idea, it's always nice to receive a greeting through the post.
DeleteI love the card you sent me, sorry it has taken me awhile to get around to blogging, I went down with a horrible cold at the weekend which has put me even further behind with my Christmas preparations! I am so pleased we were partnered as I have so much enjoyed reading your blog, we seem to have very similar tastes. Have a wonderful Christmas. xx
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better now. We do have lots of things in common so it was lovely to be partnered with you in the swap so I got to discover your lovely blog.
DeleteI love the card that Jan found to send you. We rarely get snow on Christmas day but I still wish it would snow just a little. I love all the glitter and lights.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
I think the last time we had a white Christmas was back in 2010, it does make it rather special but can be a bit of a pain for those people having to travel. Merry Christmas.
DeleteVery lovely card.
ReplyDeleteIt is.
DeleteWhat a cosy little winter scene, I'd like to visit that village.

Me too, it's so pretty, isn't it?
