We have wild Rhoddies growing in the woods throughout the Pocono mountains where my daughter lives. Also Mountain Laurel. So beautiful! Here at our house we have Azaleas that haven't been trimmed in several years so are up to the roof of the front of our house (one floor level) and covers the window to the family room almost completely!💖Susan Zarzyckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05288882192508352720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5605977931488846865.post-12640138075838803152022-06-05T11:50:11.343+01:002022-06-05T11:50:11.343+01:00Stunning display of azaleas, we have a similar pro...Stunning display of azaleas, we have a similar problem with our Oleander, we didn´t get round to pruning this year so its a riot of colour but probably no flowers next year after we prune xcxChrissiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13613570629230619992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5605977931488846865.post-76113471484297851322022-06-04T00:20:18.370+01:002022-06-04T00:20:18.370+01:00I love rhodies and azaleas, they are always so col...I love rhodies and azaleas, they are always so colourful. I could never understand why some people, especially managers of large estate gardens, insist on radically cutting back or even getting rid of rhodies completely. I know they aren't a native species but they add some lovely colours to a garden. A place not far from me used to have some lovely rhodies round the Japanese lake but they were got rid of during conservation work about four years ago, now the place looks really ordinary without the colour.

I love the photo of Archie in the bluebells by the way, he looks so cute :)Tigermousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11386636767916316587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5605977931488846865.post-13824136589928974582022-06-03T23:53:02.182+01:002022-06-03T23:53:02.182+01:00A shame about the rhododendrons but the azaleas ar...A shame about the rhododendrons but the azaleas are beautiful.
Love the photograph with Archie :)

Enjoy the weekend, we have been watching The Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.

All the best JanLowcarb team memberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07961199165290289611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5605977931488846865.post-54477679402037588762022-06-03T22:19:45.089+01:002022-06-03T22:19:45.089+01:00The azaleas look amazing & wouldn't a ligh...The azaleas look amazing & wouldn't a light pruning & tidy up be better each year than a nasty attack on the rhododendrons? It all seems so long ago when we met you there and I'm trying to remember where the azaleas were.
