I love tulips too, but when I was a child I was terrified of looking inside as I was convinced that spiders lurked there. It took my Mum years to convince me otherwise! Do you put a penny in your tulip vase? It helps to stop them flopping over. They do grow afterwards though once it's finished blooming.
